Hat Care and Storage

1.Daily Cleaning
Use a soft-bristled brush (e.g., lint brush) to gently remove dust and debris. For wool/tweed caps, brush in the direction of the fabric weave. Avoid water unless necessary.

2.Spot Cleaning
Dab stains with a damp microfiber cloth and mild soap (e.g., wool detergent). Blot, do not rub. Air-dry away from direct heat.

3.Storage
Store caps upright on a hat stand or stuff the crown with acid-free tissue to retain shape. Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

4.De-Wrinkling
For cotton/linen caps, use a handheld steamer 15cm away from fabric. For wool, hang in a steamy bathroom to relax fibers.

5.Waterproofing
Spray fabric-specific waterproofing mist (e.g., silicone-based for wool) lightly on the surface. Test on an inconspicuous area first.

6.Shape Preservation
Never fold or crush the cap. If flattened, reshape with a rounded object (e.g., bowl) inside the crown while damp.

DON’Ts
No washing machines, harsh chemicals, or hair dryers.

For leather/velvet trims, use specialized cleaners only.
